FUNNIES

It is time I posted a few fun stories about the girls.
The most recent would be when we got back from Cancun. It was time for bed, but Autumn refused to go to sleep unless I slept in her bed, thank goodness it is a double. So, I fell asleep with her Jon in our bed and Makenna in hers. Makenna woke half way through the night and moved in bed with Jon, after a few hours of restlessness he replaced her in her own bed. Upon doing that Autumn woke up and went downstairs to sleep with her daddy. Makenna then woke up and came into Autumn's room to sleep with me. Needless to say it was Musical Beds. Did any of us get any sleep that night???

Secondly, we have been having lots of guests over for dinner lately, if you haven't have a dinner invite just come over we are probably having a party :) One night we were getting dinner ready and makenna was setting the table. I gave her four plates and she said, "Mom when are our friends coming over?" I proceeded to explain that it was just going to be our family which in response she exclaimed, "Mom, we need to invite someone, call Troy and Emily and Sophie." Silly girl life always has to be a party.

Thirdly, Makenna has been really into playing mommie, she has a dolly and carries it around the house. I asked her one day what her dolls name was. I explained that I had given her a name when she was born and we gave Autumn her name when she was born and that she should give her baby doll a name. She thought and a few moments later came up to me and said, "Mom my dolls name is Toast!" Which I said, "You are very beautiful Toast!"

Isn't life wonderful especially when you can smile. I sure love my girls :) Wishing you Funnies for your Future.

Toast is a very original name! Sounds like you are still doing good. It was great to come to dinner with you over the holidays. Keep having those parties.

I'll be over! Then we can actually see each other and catch up! Glad you are having fun~ Since we don't see each other. Soon the snow will melt and it will be back to outside adventures!

John,
I hope you remember us, we played on the four wheelers with you at the wall's house a couple weeks before Christmas. Anyway, I was talking to Brett Jorgenson the other day and he mentioned he saw you. He said your last name is Cottle. I grew up with some Cottles up in Portland Oregon. Seth and Nick were about my age, and their dad Mike Cottle, was my little league coach when I was about 11 years old. Tom Cottle was the stake president at one time, and a primary teacher of mine when I was young. Are you related to any of these people?
