We've Arrived
Just to let everyone know we have arrived in Roseville, MN safe and happy to be a family again. It was a lot sooner than I first expected, but we are happy to see Jon the little that he is home. My mom took the road trip out with the girls and I. We drove 15 hours the first day, YIKES!!! The girls did great, I was exhausted after 8:00. We ended up staying in IOWA at KayCee's friend Lexi's house. We really enjoied there hospitality. Then we took the 3 hour drive up to MN. It was short thank goodness. Autumn was so hard to get back in her carseat, and when we finally arrived she ran and couldn't stop running for almost two days refusing to ever get in the car again. Jon was so sweet when we arrived he had left a trail of hershey's kisses on the floor to the girls bedrooms. They had there mouth's full before I could say wait :) I am so grateful my mom drove with us. We just sent her off today and will miss her. Now, I have got to start exploring, just let me get unpacked first. We will keep you posted for the future. Lots of Love, The Cottle's

IT IS A Boy :)!!!
We are so happy to announce that the Dr. is predicting a boy. We had a wonderful Dr. visit on Wed. and everything is perfect. I couldn't be a more normal pregnant women. Jon decided that he wanted Dr. Naisbitt to write the sex on a piece of paper and seal it in an envelope. We brought it home and had my family come over and got Jon's mom on the phone. Then just like when Missionary's get there call we opened the envelope and jumped for joy when we read and saw that it was a boy. I do feel a little guilty and way spoiled. Our Heavenly Father new that is what we really wanted, and though I know it is not always they case we do feel really blessed and loved that he has chosen a boy to bless our family. I don't think Jon stopped smiling the entire day :) We hope everyone has a wonderful Easter with lots of chocolate eggs. We as a family are so grateful to remember our Savior Jesus Christ and his sacrifice for us; that we may live together as a family someday. What a glorious blessing. May God Bless!

Can't Wait and Reasons WHY??? and FIVE years!!!
So it has been a while since I've last got on, sorry ;) I'm sure you really missed me! Life has been quite crazy and I am not even sure why. I think it is my tired behavior come about 3:00. However, We have been enjoying life but before I give the log I would like to state a few facts.
I recently found out why Jon didn't buy me a truck when I wanted a new family vehicle. I would have LOVED one, but if you remember a few weeks ago when that warm spout came through I wanted to plant some things in my new yard. I went to Lowe's with Jon and came out with a TREE. Jon rolled his eyes as we purchased it, but I was full glow. He then wondered how we were going to fit it in the Durango with the kids car seats. We smooshed it in the back and it hung out the front window where I was sitting all the way home from Layton. He then began saying, if we got you a truck you would be bringing home, trees, furniture, and any other large item so it is saving the bank. I started to giggle.
When Jon and I first found out I was pregnant we swore we weren't going to find out what I was having. It was all fine until other people started saying how that would be so hard and how could we do that?? I finally new what they meant when I was at my friend Misha's house and we looked at the Chineese calendar to find out what it predicted. Of course it was a girl and to my amazement I was devastated. Not that I would love whatever the Lord blesses us with, but that I was certain after two girls we would get a boy. So, come this Wed. we will be looking to find out what the gender is. Darn it would have been really fun, but I want to be ready to love which ever we are blessed with.
Now to the log: We have been enjoying many fun things. Makenna took a three week swimming course which she absolutely loved. It was the cutest thing; I have never seen her smile so much for so long for any activity. She learned how to hold her breath underwater which is a big accomplishment for her.
Also, this last week we went to see the grand opening of my parents cabin at Panquitch Lake. We stayed the weekend through a snowstorm, but I got some good 4-wheeling in the last day. We decided to go over to Zions and Hike because of the cold weather and the girls did fairly well. It was beautiful scenery and we loved being together.
Then we got to have a treat. My parents took the kids for the rest of the week and Jon and I went to Vegas to celebrate 5 years of marriage. I can't believe it has been that long, but when I think of 3 kids and 12 states I am amazed at what we have done. I truly am blessed to have Jon for my husband. We ended up staying at the Flamingo on the strip for one night and I will have to recommend it to anyone who wants to go; the reasons are because we didn't have to walk through the casino once, unless going out to the strip. We checked in went to our Room ate at the buffet and went out to the pool all without seeing a slot machine. Also, It was gorgeous with all the wildlife and water. We really just spent 2 days at the pool getting sun. Then we drove out to East Vegas where we got a "Cheaper" hotel. However, in the morning we went to Blueberry Hill Pancake house upon recommendation of my Aunt Dantzle and I do have to say I fell in love with the pancakes. It is a little ridiculous, but I told Jon it was worth 5 years of marriage just to eat those pancakes. Jon had to force my fork from the plate and drag me away. I only wish I had there recipe. OK, so maybe it is a little of the pregnancy, but they were awesome pancakes.
After so much fun the trip couldn't be complete without a trip to the temple. So we took our time and enjoyed a full temple experience. It felt like I was getting married all over. It was wonderful because I didn't have to worry about getting back to the kids. Thanks Mom and Dad. So after all this sun and fun I have to admit I was reluctant to come home so we drove to St. George and stayed another night there and I layed out at the pool one more time to soak up the rays before I came home to the Snow and Cold. I was really needed some warm weather.
So, our experience was wonderful and I grew closer to Jon which was also wonderful because come Thurs. We will be 18 hours apart for 2 months. I am a little nervous because the pregnancy makes me weak emotionally and physically, but every trial makes us stronger.
I love you Jon and I love our family. I am beyond words to express the gratitude of being sealed in the temple. Without my family I wouldn't feel complete. I love you!
