The kids enjoying Morgan for the last few weeks

Just before we left they had Dr. Seuss Day.  Autumn dressed up as Think 1 and Thing 2 ....

Dean got to go to the annual car show with Jon and My Dad.  Of course the Jeep was his favorite

My dad wanted to take Dean to the train expo at Union Station so of course we all ended up going with him.  It was packed full of people and a little crazy, but we had a good time with my Dad.

The day we were packing up to move Makenna had her end of the year performance.  Her 2nd grade class was so cute.  Makenna loves Mrs. Dent and I know she will be greatly missed.  It was really touching to see how much she has grown into a little lady.

Dean of course has found his mischievous self.  His favorite thing to do is to throw all the cushions off the couch and if he is lucky I make a fort for him to lay and watch t.v. on the iPad....  Spoiled a little!
Ok so I wanted to relax one night so the kids thought it would be fun to take me to the spa.... There way!  It was quite an experience :)
Lily has found the joy of climbing on the counter and of Course.  OREOS and Milk a family favorite.

Jon calls this one.  The little queen of Narnia.  We just might miss the cold weather.  Maybe
And of course how could we leave without visiting Chuck E' Cheese.   Another Family favorite.

Last of Utah

The past little while I have had the sweet experience of having Maylee be part of our family while Whitney was working.  It has beens so fun to see the two girls play all day long and fight as nearly 2 year olds would obviously do.  I had to catch a glimpse of all of them together before we left.

Jon and I got Jazz tickets for Christmas from my mom and dad.  We had a great night watching them win home court, and brought Dean a jersey which he absolutely loves!

As a final farewell.  My dad made sure we didn't leave without a true Utah experience.  He took the whole family ice fishing.  Let's just say we caught a bucket load of fish.  The kids loved it and even Lily joined in on the fun.  Thanks Dad for keeping us together and making us get out and have a family experience.
And of course we are going to miss dressing up at Grandma's house.  She has all the awesome attire a little girl could ever dream of to wear.

Another Job Opportunity... January

Jon has been working with Rehab Medical for only a few weeks, but prior to him accepting the job he interviewed with a company called Baker Hugh's which is located out of Houston.   While working for Rehab the continued the interview process.  There were over 2,500 applicants and they were only hiring 20 people so it was very slim picking.  However, this was a Jon's so called Dream Job and he really was excited about the prospect.  As he continued the interview process he continued to get positive feedback and the head guy even said, We will see you in March.  So having much faith and through prayers we decided to put our house up for sale.  Not knowing if we had the job for sure or not.  It had only been up for a few weeks when the family which rented the house from us for the summertime while we were away in St. Louis called and said they would like to purchase our home.  We had it for Sale by owner.  So still without knowing for certain about this job in Houston we proceeded in the process of selling our home.  It was very painful to let it go, but we agreed on a date which happened to be March 12 or so.   We prepared our home for the purchase and continued our prayers.  We didn't know yet where we were going to move and if we were staying in Morgan or moving across the nation to Houston.  Well, our prayers were answered after a grueling 6 weeks. and Jon was offered the job which they only took 18 employees.  We were thrilled and knew this was the Lord's hand.  It was completely a walk into the darkness for us to have the light opened and our future brighter than ever before.  We are not doing summer sells. and Jon has his Dream JOB!  Not only that but the starting date was March 18 therefore we were selling our home and moving out at the precise time needed for us to move to Houston.  The Lord knew all along what it took for us to move forward and he Required that we had Faith.  It was very stressful and full of anxiety but we are so excited for the future and what it Holds for our family.  Here we go .... Another Adventure :)

Moving to another subject.  For Christmas the kids received ski lessons from Wolf Mountain.  They absolutely loved every minute of them.  There sweet friends Ellie Demond and Addie Williams came and did them with the girls.  I was so shocked to see there improvement.  By the end they could go down the very hardest of the ski lifts.  Autumn ended up being nick named little Lindsay Vohn because she was such a good skier and loved to go SO FAST.  I would say ok Autumn you can go, but don't hit anyone and she would fly down the hill and get there faster than even I could ski down.  It was such a joy to see them enjoy skiing.

Autumn also had the awesome privilege of turning 6 this year as well.  She had a fun birthday party with her friends.  We played a cute game of dressing up the girls as snowman, using toilet paper.  She loved having a special day just for her.  I love my little girl.  She is so curious and smart.  She is learning leaps and bounds in kindergarten and getting to be a really good reader.  Autumn has a lot of talent and I am excited to see it blossom.

Thanksgiving and Christmas

The job hunt has proved successful Jon was offered a job with Rehab Medical.  We are excited for this position.  He has the Northern Utah territory and will start selling medical supplies.  This is an answer to our prayers and we are incredibly grateful.  This means we are no longer going out for the summer which is very hard to wrap my mind around, but I am so thrilled and excited about this.  We are considering putting our house up for sale to down size.  That's the jist of things.
Thanksgiving quickly approached us this year.  We had the pleasure of hosting Jon's Siblings.  Jon's Sister Amber from Washington drove down with her 5 kids,  His Brother Steven and wife Marlene flew in from Houston with there 2 year old and one on the way.  Also, Tom and Sarah flew in from Minnesota.  It was a full house with 10 kids but so much fun to have the cousins get to know each other and to reunite as a family.  We took them 4-wheeling up Deep Creek which was I think the favorite activity, rode horses, and the girls even ventured out for an early black friday night.  Steven even allowed the girls to give him a pedicure.  Nail Polish and All...  What a great uncle :)

With Christmas approaching we of course had to take the girls to see the Nutcracker.  This year we decided to see Clytie Adams production because the girls are in her Ballet School.  We had so much fun with grandma's and Aunt Whitney.  It was a very fun night :)

My sweet friend Heidi Emailed me after the Hurricane Sandy that had ruined much of New York and the East Coast.  She had a few names of some family's that could use help getting back on there feet because they had been displaced from there homes.  I offered to take on two of the families and asked that the Extended wall family to give donations. Great Grandma Wall had a family home evening and everyone brought some things to give to the families it was a great experience and the families were so grateful.  I took this picture of the girls playing dressup at Great Grandma's just as I did when I was a little girl with my cousins. :)

We had a wonderful FHE with some friends.  We decided to make gingerbread manger scenes.  They turned out darling.  It was so fun to see the creative juices come flowing.

Late night with Dad.  Two peas in a Pod.  Love my BOYS!

Christmas Day was so wonderful of Course with Santa coming and all.  This year is was a special delight seeings that we caught Santa on Video.  Makenna and Autumn put the video camera under the couch and in the morning we watched as Santa showed up and saw the camera and turned it off.  So Fun to see the light in there eyes..   (Thanks Dad) :)

New Year's Eve out the Kacey and Brad Demond.  We had a great time at Tucano's.  Then Jon and I got a hotel downtown and enjoyed the night!

Wendy flew in for a sister's vacation and ski trip.  We had fun up at the Canyons and shopping.  So glad to have sisters.
