I never posted Easter so better late than never, It was a lot of fun with 3 egg hunts and tons of candy. We especially loved the truck ride through the mud up to the property. We were all in the back of the truck while the tires spun mud all around us. Thanks Papa.
So far life is fun here in MN. It is still cold; which is no fun. However, we have managed to find some really awesome activities. There is a free zoo, one of the last in America. It really is awesome with; seals, sea lions, giraffe's, lions, tigers, monkeys and chimps, and lots of carnival rides. I was way impressed. We will be making trips there often. We also have nearly a backyard which is more than back home. We have a pond and geese and goslings that live there so we have made pets already and the girls love them. We have also explored an awesome outlet mall and gone biking among the many trails which go around a lake. There are sooo many lakes around here. I am beginning to see why it is famous for them, we were trying to find a store and had to go around the entire lake in order to get to where we were going. Long drive!
Lastly, Mother's day was wonderful I decided to take the reins and made reservations for Jon and I at "McCormick and Schmicks" It was an awesome seafood restaurant downtown MN. We ended up going at 11:00 Sat. Night, but it was so worth it. The food was unbelievable and Jon even tried Oysters for the first time. I declined being pregnant, but am pretty sure I wouldn't have tried them anyway. Thanks Whit for babysitting. Sunday was wonderful church and then a company BBQ so no cooking for me. Jon was even nice enough to let me sleep in and did the dishes for me. LOVE YOU HONEY!!! Just want to wish all Mother's out there a wonderful week. Motherhood so far for me has been the most challenging and rewarding experience of my life. I find I have never served, loved, and been so tired in my life; yet through it all I wouldn't change my family for the world. Much love and respect to all Mother's in the world who have sacrificed the ease of life for a greater cause. May God Bless Us, in one of the greatest responsibilities on Earth to raise righteous, strong, and faithful children.
