For Whitney and My birthday my mom got us tickets to see Carrie Underwood in Concert. It was such a blast and I loved spending the day with my sweet lil' Sis! Not to mention listening to Carrie Blow the Roof off the Arena was Awesome :) She is such a great singer. Loved everything about it.
This year we picked our pumpkins out of Grandpa's pumpkin patch and carved them for family home evening. It was so cute to see the kids get creative. Loved having homegrown pumpkins.
For Halloween the kids insisted that Jon and I dress up. So I went "SUPER" They kids wanted to be super heroes so Jon was Clarke Kent and I was wonder woman. We has so much fun on Halloween doing the annual buisness trick r' treat down main street. It's so fun to see the whole town get out and have a town reunion with everyone celebrating. The kids had fun seeing all there friends also. Then when we arrived back at our neighborhood they did a Ward Trunk R' Treat down our street so we set up the bounce house and ate Hot Dogs at Chris Burts... EMMA's and enjoyed the comradery of our neighborhood. Love small towns!
This past year Grandpa has had a DONKEY. So the kids decided we needed to ride him. He is so gentle and sweet and lets the kids hop on him all the time. Problem is Autumn thinks he needs to be told where to go and the Donkey doesn't reign well... Or at all. He goes wherever he wants and this frustrates her :) But all the other kids LOVE it. And of course the cool crisp weather wouldn't be complete without a hunt. Jon loves the bird hunt and had another sucessful year in South Dakota.
Even though it snowed and they almost couldn't get out of the airport. They sure look good though don't they! My dad always looks the happiest when he is hunting!
